St Drostans Family Picnic July 19th
The St Drostans Family Picnic will take place on July 19th between 12 noon and 3pm, and all are welcome. Please bring your preferred picnic items with you and we will have hot and cold drinks, and an array of cakes and cookies to share. There will be a Treasure Hunt, out door and indoor games, and a chance to enjoy the beauty of Glen Esk. New Patio and Picnic Area
As part of the ongoing improvement programme, a new patio has been laid at the entrance to the Lodge. This includes the creation of a raised bed behind the sleeper wall, to manage the slope, and add a new planting area.

Renewing the Lodge 2025
Since selling the Parsonage last year the Trustees have decided to move forward on a programme of refurbishment and renewal of the Lodge, grounds and Church.

Touched by Tarfside
St Drostan’s Lodge, in the Diocese of Brechin, opened in 1983, providing basic self-catering accommodation next to St Drostan’s Church in Tarfside, Glenesk. In 2003, it was re-opened after extensive modifications and addition of extra bedrooms, with the assistance of a lottery grant. A condition of this grant was that the Lodge had to be open to all, not just members of Brechin Diocese.
